API

REST API

Export the comments and scrapes you collected over HTTP with an API key, as newline-delimited JSON or one JSON object.

On this page

Create an API key in the API tab of your account, then call an export endpoint with it as a bearer token. Keys are shown once at creation and start with adl_. The same endpoint also accepts a CLI device token.

Scale required. API keys and the REST export API come with Scale. Accounts on the older All Access and Team plans keep them.

Export comments

Export comments
curl https://tryadlicio.com/api/v1/export/comments \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer adl_your_api_key"

Use https://tryadlicio.com without www. The www address redirects, and curl drops the Authorization header on a redirect.

/api/v1/export/scrapes takes the same parameters and returns one record per scrape instead of one per comment.

Format and paging

  • Returns newline-delimited JSON by default. Add ?format=json for one JSON object.
  • ?limit= is the number of scrapes per page: 100 by default, 500 at most.
  • To get the next page, pass ?cursor= with the value from the x-next-cursor response header (newline-delimited JSON) or from next_cursor in the body (JSON). No cursor means you have the last page.
  • Filter by ?since= and ?until= (ISO 8601). A date alone means 00:00 UTC.

Errors and limits
