Add Adlicio to Claude

Add Adlicio to Claude as a custom connector in about two minutes, then ask Claude for Reddit threads, reviews, ads and video transcripts in plain words.

On this page

You add Adlicio to Claude as a custom connector. After that, Claude can read Reddit threads, product reviews, Meta ads and video transcripts for you while you chat. Adlicio runs as a hosted remote MCP server, so there is nothing to install, and you need no code or API key.

What you need

  • A Claude account. Available on Claude Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise. Claude Free allows one custom connector. For Team and Enterprise, an Owner must add Adlicio first; each member then connects their own account.
  • An Adlicio account. You can sign in with Google or with your Adlicio email and password, the same way you sign in to Adlicio or the Reddit Comment Scraper extension.

Add the connector

The fast way: open Claude with Adlicio and the URL filled in. Select Continue, keep the settings Claude marks Detected, select Add, then Connect. Sign in and select Allow access.

To do it by hand:

  1. Open Claude on the web, select Customize in the left sidebar, then the Connectors tab.
  2. Select + Add at the top right, then Add custom connector.
  3. Type Adlicio under Name, paste https://mcp.tryadlicio.com/mcp under MCP server URL and select Continue.
  4. Keep the settings Claude marks Detected (Sign in now and Use Claude’s published identity) and select Add.
  5. Select Connect. Sign in with Google or your Adlicio email and password, then select Allow access.
  6. In a conversation, select + in the message box, open Connectors and switch Adlicio on.
Connector URL
https://mcp.tryadlicio.com/mcp

Use the same URL for ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, VS Code, Perplexity, Grok or Le Chat.

Adlicio is also in Claude's connector directory, listed as a Community connector. In Customize > Connectors, switch to Discover, search for Adlicio and connect it.

Check that it works

Start a new chat and paste this prompt. It uses no credits.

Prompt
Use Adlicio to check my account. Which plan am I on and how many research credits do I have?

The first time, Claude asks whether it can use Check Adlicio account from Adlicio. Select Allow once, or Always allow to skip the question next time. Claude then answers with your plan and your credit balance. If Claude says it has no Adlicio tools, select + in the message box, open Connectors and switch Adlicio on.

Team and Enterprise

On Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner adds the connector once for the whole workspace:

  1. An Owner opens Organization settings > Connectors in Claude. On Enterprise, a member whose role can manage the organization's libraries can do it too.
  2. Select Add, then Custom. If Claude asks for the type, choose Web. Enter https://mcp.tryadlicio.com/mcp and select Add.
  3. Each member opens Customize > Connectors, finds Adlicio with the Custom label, and selects Connect.
  4. Sign in with your own Adlicio account, then enable Adlicio from + > Connectors in a conversation.

Each person then signs in with their own Adlicio account. Owners can open the Claude admin setup with the details filled in.

What to ask next

Ask for a job in plain words. Claude picks the right Adlicio tool.

  • "What do people on Reddit complain about with standing desks?"
  • "Read the 1 to 3 star reviews on this Amazon product and group the complaints."
  • "Show me the Facebook ads Ridge is running right now."
  • "Transcribe this TikTok and tell me the hook."

The research guides in the sidebar show these jobs step by step, with a real result. Start with Reddit research.
