Each subreddit is checked to be real, public and safe for work, and the first check runs right away over the last day, returning its matches in 10 to 40 seconds. The call uses 0 credits; a Radar uses 1 credit a day while it runs. All Access includes 3 Radars, Team 10.

Inputs

  • subreddits (array of strings, required, up to 10 items): 1 to 10 subreddit names without r/ (e.g. ["freelance","graphic_design"]): focused communities where these people ask questions.
  • looking_for (string, required, up to 400 characters): Who to find, in one or two sentences (10 to 400 characters): who the person is and what they ask for, e.g. "Freelance designers asking how to find their first clients or how to price a project".
  • name (string, optional, up to 80 characters): Optional Radar name, up to 80 characters. Defaults to a name built from the subreddits.
  • offer (string, optional, up to 400 characters): Optional. What the user sells or offers, up to 400 characters. Stored with the Radar for reply drafts in the app; matching uses looking_for.
  • keywords (array of strings, optional, up to 20 items): Optional prefilter, up to 20 words or phrases: only posts whose title or text contains one of them are judged. Omit to judge every new post.
  • alerts (boolean, optional, default true): Email (and Slack, when connected) on strong matches under 90 minutes old, at most once an hour. Default true.
