Set sort to new for the newest posts first (the last week by default, or the window in time), to find fresh posts to reply to. On All Access and Team, threads already in your history include a scrape id that get_history_item reads for zero credits.

Inputs

  • keyword (string, required, up to 300 characters): Search term or topic.
  • limit (number, optional, default 10, 1 to 25): Max threads to return. Default 10, max 25 (higher values are clamped).
  • subreddits (array of strings, optional, up to 5 items): Optional. Restrict the search to these subreddits (names without r/, e.g. ["running","xxfitness"]). Omit to search all of Reddit. Max 5.
  • sort (string, optional, default relevance): relevance ranks threads by topic match and comment volume. new returns the newest matching posts first, including posts with no replies yet. Default relevance. Values: relevance, new.
  • time (string, optional): Only posts from this window. Default week when sort is new, otherwise all time. Values: hour, day, week, month, year, all.

Cost and plan

Cost: 1 credit. Plan: Every plan. Cost and plan are separate: a tool can cost no credits and still need a paid plan. See credits and limits.
