Use a keyword of 2 to 5 words, the way a viewer types it, or pass a channel URL to list that channel's latest uploads with their views and the channel's subscriber count. Returns video listings, not comments. Follow with scrape_url to read a video's comments for zero credits, or start_deep_scrape for a larger collection.

Inputs

  • keyword (string, optional, up to 300 characters): Search term or topic. Omit when channel is set.
  • channel (string, optional, up to 300 characters): A YouTube channel URL (youtube.com/@handle, youtube.com/channel/UC..., /c/<name> or /user/<name>) or an @handle. Lists the channel's latest uploads instead of searching; a URL ending in /shorts lists its Shorts. Omit when keyword is set.
  • limit (number, optional, default 10, 1 to 25): Max videos to return. Default 10, max 25 (higher values are clamped).
  • order (string, optional, default relevance): Keep YouTube order (relevance for a keyword, newest first for a channel) or sort descending by view count. Default relevance. Values: relevance, views.

Cost and plan

Cost: 0 credits. Plan: All Access & Team. Cost and plan are separate: a tool can cost no credits and still need a paid plan. See credits and limits.
